GroupRes is a privately held company and was formed to market and support the GroupRes group accommodation booking and inventory management application developed as a joint venture with Zest.net.
GroupRes is the first software application that enables the creation of dynamic URLs that provide electronic portals for making real-time hotel sleeping room reservations into contracted room blocks for group meetings at hotels. It provides electronic connectivity to hotel central reservation systems and maintains active databases of contracted room inventory and meeting attendee information.
GroupRes also offers SnapRes, the easiest and least expensive full service online conference and event registration application.
The Chief Executive Officer of GroupRes is Jim Tyner. Jim has 30 years experience in the travel and hotel hospitality marketing fields and has been an innovator of technology solutions beginning with 8 bit, CPM machines.
The Chief Technology Officer is Robert Rastovich. Rob is a well known pioneer in e-commerce applications having implemented one of the first dynamically generated, database resident e-commerce sites. He has brought his experience in large, scalable database internet applications to create the GroupRes architecture and join it with state of the art CRS connectivity.
Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing is David Kuhn, a 22 year veteran of the travel industry. Dave has experience in car rental, hospitality, online travel, travel technology, travel agency sales, and travel industry sales and marketing including management level positions at Utell International and Pegasus Solutions.
